Red Flower Star

Looking through my archive, I saw this red flower! I don't know what it is called, but it looks like a star to me, and red color is just perfect for today.

We have snow these last two days! My area is covered with a white blanket.

I play around with photoshop for the above picture! I unleash my holiday stresses by doing what I love, and that is manipulating photos. How do you de-stress?

It would be so nice to see flowers and colors at this time of the year when the earth is under a blanket of snow and the sky is so gray. I hope this beautiful red color flower brings a bit of cheer to you.

  1. A beautiful flower Icy, it does bring back memories of Spring. The photoshop version is lovely.

Taking photos relaxes me, especially when it's part of a walk in the woods.

  3. beautiful Icy, both the original and the one where you photoshopped. I believe I really have a lot to learn, now, if I only have a lot of time. I wish to be able to do some "art" in my photos too.

like you, I de-stress by looking at my photo archive :) or i take a hike.

  4. I prefer just taking photos.
Editing them takes out the fun from taking the photos!

  7. Lovely photo Icy, beautiful art! Like most, taking photos de-stress me. Helps me relax as I see beauty through the lens. I like this flower too and would love to plant one in my garden...I always see it around the area, but do not know what it's called. :)
