Guess This Flower
My neighbors across the street love to go camping in their RV. Every summer, they pack up their two boys and off they go for two weeks at a time.
When we finally had a chance to catch up yesterday, she told me about her latest road trip. This year they have traveled farther than usual, and they were at Pennsylvania RV Parks. Since her husband worked for the Department of Natural Resource, they love the outdoor and camping is a part of their lives.

I am so behind in posting the awards that I have received lately. With the schedules of my son's two soccer teams, and endless chores I find myself in total chaos at times.
As I am doing catch up with listing these awards, I may miss to mention some or I may double post some, and for that I sincerely apologize. As you can see, I have my work cut out for me now.

I love looking at baby clothes, especially for girls, because they have great varieties of things to chose from. There are so many choices, from head to toes, as far as I can see. Boys' clothes are limited including colors, and designs.

It all started out innocently enough on a Sunday morning trip to soccer fun when I noticed this elegant white clover flower. I had to take picture. Yes, I understand it is just a clover flower, but for some reasons, it was more than that to me.
It is a Simple Pleasure to See
Through a series of rainy days, and hot temperature, there were still white clover flowers everywhere. Most of them were very ordinary white flowers that we all see every day. However, the flower above stood alone, with a dash of light color, and looked so extraordinary when my eyes landed on it.
Have you notices Halloween decorations in the stores already? Are we rushing the Holidays a bit earlier and earlier each year? Do we really have to get ready so soon? For many of us, buying one or two things ahead of time is the only way to go to stay on budget.
I know I haven't got over the fact that school is around the corner yet, but now I must begin to collect my presents and gifts for the coming holiday. Often, the kids in my life prefer to receive toys, so with that in mind, I usually get them done first.

I saw these roses in my brother's backyard, and the pink color is just so sweet! These roses can cut as a single rose for display because of their long stems. Yes, the thorns on these beauties are also very sharp.
These flowers have the hottest pink color that I've ever seen. It is such vibrant color in heat of the sun.
Baby Rose Bud
This baby rose bud is so elegant and pretty! This is the hot pink color that I like. If it has to be pink, so be this sweet pink!

As school is about to start, I am reminded about the lockers in my son's building. Many of these school lockers are old, and not functioning as they should be. My son's locker is always stuck, and he always has to call the janitor for help.
This is a place where he has to keep his winter wear, boot, books, backpack, and other personal belongings. There is nothing we can do about it, since our school district is in financial trouble enough already. Looking at lockers for sale would not be on their agenda anytime soon.

My friend Laurie likes to host summer parties for the children from around the neighborhood. One of these parties is the famous shaving cream party, where kids of all ages come bringing their own shaving cream cans.
Jumping on the Trampoline
In Laurie's backyard there is a trampoline for the kids to jump and have fun while we set up the front drive way for the shaving cream. I am in charge of putting the kids' names on their own cans, an easy job for me in the shade!
Many of us want to know how to make money blogging. Though this is not going to get us rich quickly, we still like to earn that extra pocket money. There are some bloggers who donate their blogging earnings for charity or sponsor a less fortunate child in other country. Whatever your purpose for earning money, it is a decent hard work to establish.

This is an amazing video! You just have to watch to marvel at the incredible strength, and endurance, flexibility, and skills of human beings.
Shopping online some time is the best thing to do since you can see what is on sale without having to look at the newspaper. It is kind of nice to have a general idea what the fashion trend is for the season. My mobility is somewhat limited, so I often like to shop for what I need online.

My niece has a desire to move to South Carolina after her graduation from the University in a year! Her fiance is currently looking for a job there since his laid-off. They want to take this opportunity to start out a new life together in a totally new environment.
I told her that I will visit her and that we should check out a Resort in Myrtle Beach for a vacation. We both love going to the beach. It is one of the common things we enjoy sharing together.

I skipped by this field of flowers since they look all out of shape. As a matter of fact, they didn't look anything like flowers at all. Though the colors were very attractive and calling for attention, I walked right by them at first, but then I returned and the photos below are the result.
Look Like a Butterfly
When I first saw this flower, it looks just like a butterfly! The colors are beautiful, and the water droplets on it in this angle giving it the butterfly-effect. I have not seen that many butterflies around here this year at all.
My son and I have a picnic to go to for his soccer travel team this weekend. I have no idea where the park is located. Giving the fact that I always have problem with direction such as "go North, head for Northeast, or take Southwest", I decide to map out my route.

JoJo and his friends have recently developed a taste for making a ramp to jump using their bikes, skateboards, Rip Sticks, scooters, and roller skates!
Their desire to build a ramp had them scouting the neighborhood for scraps wood pieces. On garbage day, these boys went up and down the street to look for what they needed, and came back to our backyard worked on putting the idea together.
These scraps come back to my yard for a great new adventure in wood working! While the boys look for tools that they can use, I entertain the thought of "one man's trash is another man's treasure."
My mailbox is a black rectangle, old fashion one! It is so weathered now that I am entertaining the thought of replacing it. Since I showcased a post on different types of mailboxes before, I have always wanted something unique if I ever purchase a new one.

I have to admit, Math is not my cup of tea! In fact, I often dodge it if I can. Talking to my friend Betchai, who is a very compassionate Math teacher, she said that I could find Math help online. I thought that's just brilliant.
My son is going into fifth grade, and on occasion he needs help with Math homework. I need to have some resources available to prefer to when I am stuck! Having Free math help is important to me since my son and I both get frustrated very easily.

Have you been disappointed on how certain pictures turned out? Well, I have, hundreds of times! For one flower, I take anywhere from five to 10 shots each just to make sure at least one of them will turn out decent.
I'm obsessed with the idea that a picture should worth "a thousand words", or convey a strong feeling such as "wow, breathless, beautiful, etc.." when a person sees it. I know I am just an amateur, but setting high standard gives me a push to try to do my best.
I used to delete many bad pictures, and still do, but keep a few to play around with, especially with flowers! I now turn my bad pictures into an art piece!
Below are two examples of my experiment with photo software!

We were out today for lunch, and on the kids' cup, this was what I saw! Of course, with camera in my hand, I took a few pictures.
I thought this would make a fun post for Monday!
You can read this anyway you want! It could be Burp Icy, or Icy Slurp, or Icy Sip...You get the idea!

More and more elderly people are living alone nowadays! As a volunteer for Meal on Wheels at my church, I have seen and delivered meals to many lonely senior citizens. Many of these elderly people try very hard to maintain their independence, and are so very courageous!

I don't remember why I ended up at Lowe's, but I was not sorry to have made the trip either. Greeting me was these gorgeous two-tone zinnias. I was quite aware of how beautiful zinnias can be since I grew them at home, but to see the two-tone colors was amazing!
Here is a Bud
The picture below is exactly what I have in mind if I were at Myrtle Beach! Blue sky, white sand, beautiful waves, ocean view, and palm trees! This is a world that is totally different from where I am currently living.
Without personal ties, I probably would have chosen to be somewhere near the ocean, despite the storms and all. I grew up near the ocean when I was younger, so my heart always has that craving for the ocean breeze.

How many credit cards do you carry in your wallet? I used to have at least ten, but then over time, I scale down to just a Visa and a Master card. I am one of those people who would open an account to get that introductory discount of 10 to 15 percent off for the first purchase.
Many of my neighbors have switched to Direct TV System from cable. Their reason was very simple: bad services and I had to agree with them. If the storm knocked off our connections, we could be without television or internet for days.
For the past two years, I had to switch to three different providers. One company sneaked in extra charges every month. Another company shut us down without written notice, if I was even a day late in payment. Then if I called in, I would have to be on the phone for more than 30 minutes playing with their automated answering system. As a consumer, I found these irritating and I deserved more of a courtesy than that.
I once lived in New Orleans for seven years, and worked as a secretary for a rental complex. My wardrobes had to be business-like every day! That meant skirt, dresses, and suits! Back then, there was no computer to search for women clothing designers. I just had to physically look for them from local boutiques or looking through magazines.

Myrtle Beach is always a dream place for me to vacation, and I am checking on it once in a while for a place to stay. As far as housing goes, I have no preferences. My heart is more for the ocean, the sand, the waves, and the sea view than anything else. The lodging just has to be affordable!
I've heard that Myrtle Beach is a very beautiful place, and I believe it from all the pictures I have seen. Last year, my daughter and her friends booked their stay at one of the Myrtle Beach Resorts for their senior vacation. They had lots of pictures of the sea to show me, and I wished I were there with them.
To tell the truth, I am not a NFL fan, even if you pay me to watch! I am more of a soccer fan as far as sport watching goes! However, I know many people who are crazy about football, and would love to have access to NFL Sunday ticket schedule.
I just don't understand the concept why these men are piling up on one another as soon as the ball reaches them. On top of that, it looks painfully like bones crushing to me! Many people have tried to explain the game rules to me, and were very patient in their effort to teach me.

Many years ago when I was looking at getting a car, I knew what my needs were: roomy enough for three children to move around, safety, affordable, space for luggage, and functionality. I was not set on any type of model, style or make. I just wanted to have a reliable vehicle to taxi my children to their destinations and back.
Watching the scene of the stock market on television always stirs up some questions in me! I wonder who can hear who when people are yelling, bidding, waving, and phone ringing? It looks very chaotic, and I can feel the stress just from watching the scene on TV.
