In Search for Winter Boots
I am very particular when it comes time to buy shoes, and I really don't like shopping for them either. I love all types of shoes, but I can't wear high heels shoes, and the thing is most of the beautiful shoes are in high heels
My favorite kind of shoes has gotten to be wide width, and flat bottom! Usually, it will take me months before I can actually purchase a pair that I'm comfortable wearing. No one has ever attempted to give me shoes as a gift since they know how choosy I am.

With the recent weather changes here in Michigan, I realize that I need a pair of winter boots, and I start to browse the internet for some ideas. Once I've pick out a certain type of boots, I will then proceed to shop for them in the stores.
I might opt to shop online for boots this time since it's so chilly, windy, and I had no time to run from store to store. With JoJo's two soccer teams' schedules, I barely have enough time for a decent dinner.
Before I buy anything online, I must look for reputable stores, and check them through with Better Business Bureau. I want to avoid the hassles and protect my purchase.

Purple Sunday
I am going back, way back in my older folder on my computer, and found these pictures of purple flowers.
These beautiful flowers are absolutely gorgeous, and my folder dated sometime in April. So these are Spring flowers, but as long as they are pretty to look at, who cares?
All Purple
There are so many different flowers that look similar to one another. So as soon as I learn of one, I stumble on another. It's very refreshing to know and learn new things.
I am browsing through second hand book stores for flower books, so I can have these books on hand to look for the name of the flowers. It take too much time describing "little purple flowers with yellow in the middle" to Google, and having to go through hundreds of pages before I can find the name.
Back to Purple
As you can see, these flowers were grown in pots, and they were put together to give that look of a field. Wouldn't it be nice if we can just get lost in this field of flowers for a moment? I have no idea what these flowers smell like, so maybe we can just look and not wander in.
Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Child Proof Your Home
Child safety is one of the most important things a parent can do to protect their offspring. It starts from the inside of the home to the outside. The more we prepare, the better it is for our children to grow without too many incidents.
Baby proofing our home is the first step before bringing the child home from the hospital. It is never too early to think about their safety.
Years ago, we didn't have electrical outlet covers, and I have witnessed my niece got zapped by sticking a pair of tweezers into one. At other times, I saw children tried putting coins in the slots. With children's curious minds, you will never know what they might do in the next minute.
How many children do you know that didn't like to play in the bottom cupboard? As a matter of fact, I remembered I had to clean out one whole section of my kitchen for my kids to play safely. Cabinet Locks are available at a very affordable price to keep the children out where they are not wanted, such as under the sink or wherever we keep our cleaning supplies.
When my two older children were growing up, there were no such things as Baby Gates. I had to make up my own barriers to keep them in a specific area. At times, I felt as if I must grow another pair of eyes behind my head!
Child proof your home is now much easier for parents since there are so many different products available in the market. Before I go to any baby shower, my ritual is to shop for child proof items. I know they are boring gifts, but I rather give something that is useful, practical, and safe.

Images for the Last Week of September
These pictures were taken on the same day as the hot pink ones, and at the same supermarket. I like these little flowers with their soft pink and white combination. As best and as quick as I can, I snap the photos!
Well, usually nobody brings their camera into the market, except for crazy people like me. I think I should be named "flowers stalker" for the century!
A Ball of Flowers
This one flower pot was set higher than the others, and the flowers were shape like a round ball. I like the pink color edges around the petals. The middle flower even had a tan look to it.
Some Pretty Branches
The V formation in these flowers were just amazing. Giving more time I would have taken another picture to show you how the trunk of these flowers separated into two branches, and the flowers just grow so wonderfully.
Harmony
I just love how these flowers look, beautiful and strong. I come away feeling very excited, like a child with a new present. Finding new flowers to take pictures are my presents.
Messing Around
If you haven't try messing around in Photoshop, you are missing a great fun! I took one of those blur pictures and edit them using impressionistic filter to make it look like a water color painting.
Keep in mind that if the picture is too blurry, the subject might not hold its shape, so use other filters and play around until you are happy with the result.

Bring on the Sun
We were out to a soccer game two days ago at 2:00 pm, sitting in the middle of a bright day, and shivering when the wind kicked up. It was chilly and my thought traveled to warmer places like California, Texas, Florida, and Arizona.
For some reasons, the color yellow comes to mind and I associate the sun with yellow flowers, so here they are bringing me the warm feelings of hot sunny days.
Yellow Chrysanthemum

Yellow Sunflower
Yellow Flower

Yellow Daisy

I hope when you're looking at these flowers, they will bring you some warm feelings too.
Have a great day!

Images for the Third Week of September
I saw these flowers in a supermarket, and the hot pink color was just spectacular. Though the light was dull and I thought my pictures wouldn't turn out, I was happy to see them clear and in focus.
Hot Pink Ladies
These flowers come in a variety of colors, but these pink ones stood out the most. They look just so pretty, small, and strong holding!
Classic and Beautiful
I like how the market grouped pots of flowers together like this. It gave the illusion of looking at a flower field. I managed to take many pictures before went on with my groceries shopping.
On the Lighter Note
Maybe the flash went off on this picture, but I still like the light pink color on these flowers. It has gotten colder here in Michigan so these flowers really cheer me up just looking at them.
All in a Row
These flowers lined up in two rows and they were just beautiful. I should have look up the name of these flowers, but I forgot. I just know that I must take the pictures and go on with my chores. There is always so many things to do.
Have a great day everyone!

Search for Coupons to Save Money While Shopping
I am a faithful coupons clipper, since they can add extra savings on my grocery bills. Living frugal is the name of the game for our family, and it only takes a few minutes per week to collect the coupons before starting my shopping.
I knows that I can save money with coupons when shopping for our daily essentials. Nowadays, I can even find discount codes, coupon codes, or online coupons by searching, and this website below has an extensive list of coupon categories for me to choose from.
Image Courtesy of findsavings.comI find myself shopping at Sports Authority many times a year since my son is a sport fanatic and growing so fast! He went from size 31/2 shoe to size 5 in three months. Which this rate, I'm afraid he will be a giant!
Another store I often shop is Walmart for most of my family needs. They have cheaper prices on most things than other stores.
Saving money by using whatever coupons I can find is one easy way that I can make ends meet.

A Touch of Colors
We are definitely going into Fall season since the weather is changing quite drastically by 7:00 pm. It is much chillier, and darker.
For die-hard soccer parents, we are also wilting without the sun. Everyone is wrapped in thick blankets battling with the cold wind. I then sifted my focus to the sky, and found something to appreciate before the day ended.
A Touch of Pink on Top of the Cloud
Last Dance
Calming Colors
Visitors
Spreading Joy
These pictures I took on the day that was very gloomy, cold, and sleepy. There was only a slight touch of colors that lit up the sky before night fall.
