Images for the Last Week of October

Autumn is always the best time of the year to see different colors of nature, and among these spectacular changes, trees are one of them.

Every where we go, we see beautiful trees in red, yellow, and orange. Below are some pictures of the trees that I happen to see and take a few snap shots.

Wet Trunk

These tree trunks were wet, thus giving that beautiful color black look. My son and I saw these colorful mixed of red and yellow leaves by his soccer field, and we parked underneath to take the pictures.

More Yellow

This is from the same tree above, but we focus more on its yellow leaves. Though JoJo whined about my crazy spurt, he offered to snap the pictures while rushing me to get to his game on time.

On the Ground

Well, we can't always look up, so here lie a beautiful branch that has so many different colors on it, and plus the rain drops make it irresistible to pass by without one push on the button.

Still Changing

You can see the different colors on this maple tree, and the leaves are still changing. This year, I am more aware of all the changes around me, and I have to credit these wonderful feelings to my camera.

Neighborhood View

Though we live right in the middle of the city, when this time of the year comes, we do have a beautiful view of the trees in the neighborhood. I wish to have time to take a road trip to the country side, but the weather has been very unpleasant to do so.

For now, these are the colors of trees around our city! I hope you enjoy them, and have a great day!

Loan For Small Business

It is hard to stay in business nowadays when everyone is pinching their money. Small businesses are the struggling to stay afloat, I know, because my friend's dad has a little convenient store around the corner. He said they barely make enough money to cover for the expenses of the month.

He is currently looking to get a Business Cash Advance to help with inventory, pay the bills, and just to keep the store going for a while longer. Tony is in his mid seventy, and has own the store all his life. Without this income, he doesn't know what else to do!

Merchant Cash Finder is one of the sites he found online, and Tony is seriously considering it. My friend, Tonya, works at her dad's store during the weekend just to help out. She said the children come in everyday, take a piece of candy or so, and it was ok back then, but not anymore. Every little bit adds up, and now they don't carry loose candies to sell for this reason.

Maybe Business Cash Advance can help Tony out for the time being, and hopefully the economy turns around since the cost of living is too high as it is already. Everybody is struggling, and wherever we can get relief, we have to go for it.

It would be sad to see another neighborhood store going under, besides the foreclosure homes!

Curly Aster

A walk around the yard, I found this beautiful aster fighting to stay alive in the cold weather. We don't have many of these flowers left, but what I see simply just beautiful!

Among the Dried Leaves

You have to look at this aster very closely. Can you see the petals began to curl? The white beautiful petals are just pure and elegant.

Half-Way Curled

It was a cold and windy day when I saw this white aster among the green leaves. Since it was also windy, my picture became a bit blurry. However, you can still see the curled up petals.

Curled All the Way

The petals on this aster curled all the way up. I thought it is such a beautiful flower to see in this stage. I love its center, very busy and very finely orchestrate.

The Wish List Furniture

Every since I move in to this house eight years ago, I have only bought three pieces of furniture, and they are my bed, dining room set, and a couch. Other things in my house are left over from family and friends.

I have no complaint really, because as far as home furnishings are concerned, I rather have less "stuffs" than a full house of things. However, if money were no object, I would love to have a few pieces of modern furniture, especially the ones that have dual functionality.

I would love to have an interior designer comes in, arrange my living room, mix or match what I already have, and add a nice piece of modern corner sofa furniture. I like to have ample of space for sitting, but also provide a place to stretch out if someone needs to rest.

Going furniture shopping is not my cup of tea, since I always feel pressure from the salesperson as soon as I step in the door, I prefer to look at furniture online. It is a fun process, and there is no rush in making a decision.

Once a year, when the holiday is coming closer I tend to think about having my house reorganized, and get new furniture to be properly entertained guesses, but a thought is just a thought!

Buying a Used Car With DriveTime

My niece is in her second year at Austin University, and she is looking at one of those Used Cars lots sale. She needs a car to get around for a part-time job, since it's hard to juggle both school and job waiting for the buses to arrive.

Being a student, she has no established credit history yet, which is a blessing in itself, but as we all know, we are living in a world where credit score is as important as a birth certificate. Unless you can pay for what you want with cash, you are required to have a credit history.

This is where Drive Time comes in, a company that finances their own loans for customers who bought their used car through them. They even offer an innovative ways to improve credit score, and to lower interest rate right there in their office. No outside bank or other financial institutes involved.

My niece said that she has known a few of her friends are going through Drivetime to get their first car, and they are all happy with their decisions. She wanted to be independent and do things for herself without her parents help. I remind her to check the company out with Better Business Bureau before making a major purchase.

Red Mums

At this time of the year, mum is one of the flowers that can tolerate chilly weather. They come in so many different varieties and colors! When the leaves on the trees are brown, yellow, orange, and red had fallen onto the ground, mums remain strong to bring us a warm feeling.

I see mums on display in most stores I go to, and on people's front porch.

This is a very pretty red mums, even though some petals have been beaten up by the chilly weather.

Images for the Fourth Week of October

Autumn is in full swing now, and the colors of this season are amazing! From the changing colors of trees, to abundant harvest, I am just at awe with all the wonderful things around me.

Two celebrated holidays in autumn are Halloween and Thanksgiving! These are the excited events for kids and adults alike.

Color of the Season

You can see orange pumpkins everywhere, in all shapes and sizes! I usually take my son to the pumpkin patch so he can pick out his pumpkin. It is fun trip to do since it's not too far from where we live.

White Pumpkin

I don't know if this white pumpkin is in its true color or not, but my son insists that it was painted white! Either way, I think it is fun to see something different!

Colorful Corns

These corns come in so many different varieties and colors! They are very pretty and wonderful to see. The colors are just amazing and they have their own uniqueness.

More Mini Corns

We stop at this bin of corns for a very long time! The different colored kernels are all too beautiful to pick just one, though we ended up with two bunches for our doors decoration.

Mixed Gourds

This is a wonderful mixed of gourds. I love all the tiny pumpkins, and these gourds come in different colors and textures also.

Mini Gourds

This is such a fun time of the year since we get to see so many beautiful things and many different colors in nature.

Have some fun outdoor, everyone!

Bursting in Colors

I saw these beautiful foliage and couldn't stop myself from snapping some pictures! I just love the colors on these leaves. They can be display for either autumn or Christmas time.

Look for Help Online

As I waited outside my son's school to pick him up, a group of parents was having a conversation about their children's homework. They talked mainly about Math, and complained how alienated the subject is to them.

Fifth grade Math is pretty confusing indeed, and I will be the first to admit that I'm puzzled when my son asks for Math Help! He can usually handle and solve most of the problems himself without my assistance.

Once in a while he would ask for help, and that is when we search for Online Tutoring, or free resources. The internet is a wonderful and powerful tool in our lives. Everything can be answered in a blink of an eye! It connects people to people, and it connects people to sites.

Personally, I collect the most useful and educational sites in one folder, so if I ever need help I have them handy to look up. I bookmarked such sites that offer English help, Science help, Geography help, Algebra Help, and History help. I find that we use these sites very often during the school year.

On occasions, these sites come to my rescue with my son's homework, and I can actually get help online, thanks to the internet!

Pretty as a Mum

These flowers were given to me from my daughter! She knew I love every shade of purple, and this lavender is gorgeous. It's rare to receive flowers, but to get them "just because" is even better.
