Exploring By the Water

We've just returned from an outing at Metro Park, where I took the boys to the water edge to look for photo opt. Not even a minute later, they were immersed in looking for something to do.

Kids and nature were mesmerized each other! Soon the boys found all sorts of small shells, including water snake, snail, little fishes, and mussels.

They wanted to go fishing right there on the spot, but we didn't bring any fishing poles. The boys tried to make their own, but got distracted by other things. We then moved on to different spot!

  7. Wonderful photos. My boys would find all sorts of things when we were out when they were small. Kids just notice things more. Perhaps they have uncluttered minds and just enjoy the moment:)

  11. Your boys remind me of my three sons when they were little. They are still explorers, even though the oldest is almost forty and Jeremy will be 26 in November!!
