Orange Berries

This is the tree in my backyard, and at this time of the year it bears these berries. As the weather gets colder, the berries are now in darker shade of orange color. Then the berries fall off onto the ground.

I have seen these berries for the last 10 years that I've lived here, but this is the first time they look beautiful to me. Maybe my mood was different this year toward this ornamental tree.

They look good enough to eat, don't they? I have been watching to see if the birds eat these berries, but haven't seen any stopping by! The berries are now like prunes!

  12. There have been so many times in my life where, while i know there has been beauty all around me, I have been sooo busy that I thought I didnt have time to see the lovely.

How wrong i was... everyone is busy and every one has a full plate. It takes time and effort to see what surrounds us daily. Im like you -- I think these are stunning. (but check before you pop one in your mouth! lol just in case they arent made for human consumsion.

    Hugs@!

  15. It's a rowan tree. I've got one (I had one in my last place as well). My last one had the same colour berries as yours. The new one has red berries.
