Fresh Logans in Blue Dish
I picked up this beautiful blue bowl at a thrift store, and some fresh longans at the fruit market! Fresh longans are the best. They are juicy and sweet.
Longans are only available for a short while. All you have to do is peel off the thin skin, and eat the flesh around a big seed inside.
I should have peeled off some to show you, but they were quickly eaten right after I snapped these pictures. Maybe next time!

Super beautiful,,and oh so lovely!!! yay!
ReplyDeleteManila Market is in my neighborhood and I always enjoy the tropical fruits like longans and lychees. I just wish they imported mangosteens, my favorite of all fruits, which I had in Thailand. I've never had anything so wonderful! I even did a blog about it once.
ReplyDeleteI ordered some from an importer in L.A. at an outrageous price for six of them. They arrived mushy, overripe and not good. He would not refund my money.
