White Bleeding Heart Flowers

I've always like to see bleeding hearts, and very tempting to have them in my yard for how I love the flowers lined all up in a row like this. However, giving the fact that I have black thumb and very little space, I just have to enjoy looking at them in the nursery.

Seeing all kinds of flowers blooming makes me happy, and it is also a stress reliever for me. When I had enough with my own environment, I escape to the nurseries, or go out in nature for a short time.

While out and about, I forget the thought on a messy house, pile up in the garage, or what needs to be done. I always  have to face those chores and tasks when I get back home.

  1. What a lovely flower. It truly looks like a heart in appearance. It's name reminds me of the bleeding heart pigeon... both awesome creature.

    You have a lovely day.

  2. Sometimes it doesn't take much to improve our day, does it? Now it's time for me to get back to the mountains of laundry and clutter awaiting me :(

  4. so beautiful and so exquisite, though i don't know why, but it seems to be piercing my heart, maybe because of the title, bleeding flowers, which the pictures look indeed they are bleeding from pain, from agony, so deep in character and so beautiful.

  7. Like you Icy, I go to my gardens for a respite from life in general. Though it seems lately that even if I don't need a respite, I want to be in those gardens. These flowers are so lovely and you've captured them in a very artist way. Well done.

  9. I love garden centres. When I'm stressed I go to one near to where I live and just stroll about and look at the flowers. I'm like you, I haven't got much space in our new garden, so I'll just have to be content to look but not touch...

  11. This white variety is lovely - so pure and symmetrical looking. Plants do give relief from stress - even if only briefly.

  13. I love your pics. I took some of the darker bleeding hearts at Jeannie's. I can't remember if they were pink or red, but do remember how pretty they were. Wouldn't it be neat to work in a greenhouse? I'd run a register to look at the flowers on my break.

  14. I have white too, most of the time I see pink. I like having something a little different.
