Fresh Logans in Blue Dish

I picked up this beautiful blue bowl at a thrift store, and some fresh longans at the fruit market! Fresh longans are the best. They are juicy and sweet.

Longans are only available for a short while. All you have to do is peel off the thin skin, and eat the flesh around a big seed inside.

I should have peeled off some to show you, but they were quickly eaten right after I snapped these pictures. Maybe next time!

Pink and White Gerbera Daisies

Making a trip to the grocery store can be rewarding sometimes.  Though many stores around my neck of the woods didn't like people taking pictures; some don't mind at all since it's harmless in every way!

We're only in early winter, but it seemed so long already since the last time I saw colors, flowers, or anything green. This flower really jumped out at me, and just cleared my cluttering mind.

I think the pink and white tones on these gerbera daisies were just fantastic and catchy to my eyes. I also realize that seeing a beautiful flower like this renewing my spirit so much more than words could describe.

Musical Tree

This is my favorite tree at the cemetery, where I come to visit my dad some time.  As you can see, there were many wind chimes and other decorated statues hanging from this. When the wind kicked up, you can hear music from those chimes.

I really like this tree in the winter even though I can't be outside that long since it's always freezing, but you can see so many different things on this tree without heavy branches of leaves. The hanging objects change as the season change; however, the wind chimes remain the same.

Are you aware that we can conduct most of our business online, from paying bills, viewing bank statements, buy and sell, to finding Online Broker for Online Trading?  It's so crazy to me that with just a click of the mouse, we can totally transport loads of information to right in front of our eyes.

Baby Blue Delphinium

Digging, and digging for something blue, and this is it, ladies and gentlemen! Baby blue delphinium! These flowers have quickly become one of my favorite summer flowers, and there is a wide range of colors to choose from.

My garden soil isn't suitable for many flowers, and usually when something is growing the squirrels tend to destroy them all.

I'm going to install a wire fence around my garden this year, and start growing flowers and vegetables again. Just thinking about this makes me wanting to shoo the winter weather away.

Little Pink Flowers

We are having more snow today, so there is really nothing, and I mean zit, nada, nothing to take pictures of.  I'm not an outdoor sport enthusiast, who likes sledding, skiing, or ice skating, thus I must drag up my old files.

I found these beautiful flowers from 2009, and they took my breath away! I can see that I've improved some with my "snapping" by looking at these photos, but I will always remain an amateur.

In any case, don't you think that these flowers are just like precious gems? They were on display at the Belle Isle Conservatory in 2009, and I haven't seen them coming back since then.

Cheap Ink Cartridges

Printer ink is always on demand at my house as the kids like to print out activity pages that they found on their favorite websites.  Since I don't like to put a damper on their creativity, I found myself constantly looking for inkjet cartridges to buy.

Having a printer in the house becomes one of the must have gadgets for today society.  Many things that we used to do by hard-copies are now online, which means that I also have to print my own bank statements, or whatever I need to get business done.

As you all know, cheap ink is not easy to find, and replacing them often can put a hole in your pocket. If you are in the same boat as I am, you will be happy to know that by clicking on the links in this post, you will find a variety of different brand name ink cartridges at an affordable price.

You will also get 10% discount on any order over $55! This is not going to be a problem for me, since I always need color, black and white cartridges.

Snow Covered Berries

We had many snow storms already in Metro-Detroit, and some of them left quite a mark on our environment.  Some are beautiful, and some are just a dirty mess! This is the pretty version right after a snow storm.

Every bit of this tree and berries were covered with snow! What am I doing out in a snow storm, you ask or might not ask? Anyway, I had cabin fever if I don't get outside once in a while. Sometimes, I even played with the snow a little just to remind myself that I still feel the numbness on my flesh.  Hmm..I think I've just disclosed the crazy part of me!

Gorgeous Blue Bird

I believe this is a blue parakeet, which is Poetic Shutterbug's favorite! Every month or so we have to visit our local pet store to get supplies for JoJo's bunny, such as food and cat litter, and we always stopped to talk to the birds that they have.

The pet shop carried different colors of parakeet in yellow, green, and mixed green with yellow, but this blue parakeet looks absolutely peaceful, and graceful to me.

Sure, my son wanted to take this bird home, but we agreed just to enjoy watching this gorgeous blue parakeet while we were in the store.

Stalks of Dried Flowers

This was what left of the fuzzy purple plant in my friend's yard. If you want to see what it looked like before, you can view them here! She doesn't know what they are called, so I don't either.

One commenter, bfarr said it might be "blazing star" and grew wild! Others said, "liatris"! Whatever they were, they were beautiful to see.

I love the color of these little flowers, and intent on asking my friend for some roots to see if I can grow in my garden.  Although she just lives down the street from me, her garden soil seems to be in a much better growing environment than mine.

Identity Hawk Provides Protection for You

Nowadays I do most of my business online such as banking, paying bills, and shopping! There is quite a lot of personal information about me that each website is collected, which sometimes worried me since I don't have identity theft protection!

Two of my friends had their bank accounts cleaned out after their purses got snatched.  It was a nightmare for them to deal with, and I wouldn't like to be in that situation. We all work so hard for our money, trying to provide a safe home for our children; therefore, we need to have a peace of mind when it comes to identity theft.

That was what exactly what my friends did.  They enrolled with Identity Hawk for protection against identity theft and fraud. With so many businesses switch to online transactions, this is the smartest way to safeguard yourself.

Business New Year's Resolutions for 2011

Guest post written by Margaret Haynes

A few weeks ago when I was thinking about what kind of New Year's resolutions I was going to make for 2011, I realized something. All of my resolutions that IÕve made have had to do with my personal life. I thought that it was about time that I should make at least one that has to do with my professional life since that's such a big party of my life and what my livelihood really depends upon. So that's exactly what I did.

I started brainstorming about what I could do for a resolution with that and while I was thinking that over I went online to come up with some inspiration and randomly case across www.CLEARWIREINTERNET.COM instead. I had never seen teh site before, but once I looked through it some, I chose to sign up for one of the home internet packages that I found on there.
In my business, I charge the clients by how much time I spend on their accounts, so I've decided to not spend more time on them, but concentrate on quality instead of quantity instead. I have a few other business New Year's resolutions too, but I'm concentrating on that main one.
