Images for the Last Week of October

Autumn is always the best time of the year to see different colors of nature, and among these spectacular changes, trees are one of them.

Every where we go, we see beautiful trees in red, yellow, and orange. Below are some pictures of the trees that I happen to see and take a few snap shots.

Wet Trunk

These tree trunks were wet, thus giving that beautiful color black look. My son and I saw these colorful mixed of red and yellow leaves by his soccer field, and we parked underneath to take the pictures.

Loan For Small Business

It is hard to stay in business nowadays when everyone is pinching their money. Small businesses are the struggling to stay afloat, I know, because my friend's dad has a little convenient store around the corner. He said they barely make enough money to cover for the expenses of the month.

Curly Aster

A walk around the yard, I found this beautiful aster fighting to stay alive in the cold weather. We don't have many of these flowers left, but what I see simply just beautiful!

Among the Dried Leaves

You have to look at this aster very closely. Can you see the petals began to curl? The white beautiful petals are just pure and elegant.

The Wish List Furniture

Every since I move in to this house eight years ago, I have only bought three pieces of furniture, and they are my bed, dining room set, and a couch. Other things in my house are left over from family and friends.

I have no complaint really, because as far as home furnishings are concerned, I rather have less "stuffs" than a full house of things. However, if money were no object, I would love to have a few pieces of modern furniture, especially the ones that have dual functionality.

Buying a Used Car With DriveTime

My niece is in her second year at Austin University, and she is looking at one of those Used Cars lots sale. She needs a car to get around for a part-time job, since it's hard to juggle both school and job waiting for the buses to arrive.

Red Mums

At this time of the year, mum is one of the flowers that can tolerate chilly weather. They come in so many different varieties and colors! When the leaves on the trees are brown, yellow, orange, and red had fallen onto the ground, mums remain strong to bring us a warm feeling.

Images for the Fourth Week of October

Autumn is in full swing now, and the colors of this season are amazing! From the changing colors of trees, to abundant harvest, I am just at awe with all the wonderful things around me.

Two celebrated holidays in autumn are Halloween and Thanksgiving! These are the excited events for kids and adults alike.

Color of the Season

You can see orange pumpkins everywhere, in all shapes and sizes! I usually take my son to the pumpkin patch so he can pick out his pumpkin. It is fun trip to do since it's not too far from where we live.

Bursting in Colors

I saw these beautiful foliage and couldn't stop myself from snapping some pictures! I just love the colors on these leaves. They can be display for either autumn or Christmas time.

Look for Help Online

As I waited outside my son's school to pick him up, a group of parents was having a conversation about their children's homework. They talked mainly about Math, and complained how alienated the subject is to them.

Fifth grade Math is pretty confusing indeed, and I will be the first to admit that I'm puzzled when my son asks for Math Help! He can usually handle and solve most of the problems himself without my assistance.

Pretty as a Mum

These flowers were given to me from my daughter! She knew I love every shade of purple, and this lavender is gorgeous. It's rare to receive flowers, but to get them "just because" is even better.

Local Directory for Popular Cities

Long ago, we depend on Yellow Pages phone book to find our ways around or to look up things. Now, we hardly ever use the phone book anymore, and we depend on the internet to do our findings.

Lily of the Valley Seed

These are the seeds of Lily of the Valley! Though some of the leaves are getting ready to decompose, but other leaves remain green, and the seeds are still bright red.

Happiness is neither virtue nor pleasure nor this thing nor that but simply growth, We are happy when we are growing.

The Colors Have Changed

Here are the updates on the colors of that beautiful plant with the tiny little white flowers. With colder weather, the leaves have also changed their colors.

Your journey never ends. Life has a way of changing things in incredible ways.
Alexander Volkov

Christmas Music is In the Air

Are you ready for Christmas? I sure am not there in my mind yet, but every store that I visited already displaying their Christmas decors. Even the children are practicing their Christmas concert songs.

My son is playing the trumpet year, and he is tired with the music that he has to practice with, so we are looking for new Christmas Sheet Music just to change it up a bit. It seems as if Christmas comes earlier and earlier each year! We barely reach Halloween, or Thanksgiving celebrations yet, and the world is ready to jump right into Christmas.

Images for the Third Week of October

Since paying attention to the smallest things, whether it is just a weed flower, or a fly, or dried dandelion, I found joyous moments being able to see the beauty from them.

On the side of my sister's house, I saw this little bush of foliage with its flower and bud. The bush is very low to the ground, and really not at all "bushy", but the flower is irresistible to my camera.

Flower and Bud

I saw this little white flower growing out from the foliage by the walkway at my sister's house. It had only four petals, and the middle was light yellow with million dots on them. The leaves had many tones of different colors.

A Welcoming Sign

You can see from the picture above that this plant is only about two feet tall, but I like the different colors in the leaves. Some leaves has pink, some has red, and some has yellow/orange.

The Other Side

Though this flower is nothing fancy, it holds its beauty and tones down the corner of the house. It didn't need too much fussing either, and happily filled in the ground.

The weather is now colder here, and I can't wait to see the colors of the leaves this weekend.

Have Fun Golfing

I have noticed that there are more people who love to play golf these last few years. It seems that golf courses are popping up on the most prominent areas around the country. My oldest child is a part of these growing numbers, and yet when he was younger he showed no interests.

Now, I learn to understand their language such as T-time, or T-off and many more. My oldest and his friends are booking their Myrtle Beach Golf Packages. Two of the boys from Michigan will fly to meet the other two in Maryland, and then drive together to their Myrtle Beach Golf Vacations there.

They are so excited about this Myrtle Beach Golf vacation. A group of four gentlemen in their mid twenties is making their dreams come true. They have been friends since their teen's years, and always talk about taking a vacation together.

My son sends me the website to look over the Golf Packages Myrtle Beach, I have to admit that those golf courses are just beautiful, and amazing! As my age, all I want for my children is to enjoy their time before making a big commitment such as having a family, or buying a home.

Hopefully the weather stays nice for them when they get there in two weeks!

Peachy Hibiscus

As many of you are aware, I live in Michigan, and the winter has arrived. The weather forecasts a light snow today, and I am crossing my fingers for it not to come. You see, I still have to sit outside for my son's soccer games until November 10th, and it's not funny when I can't feel my fingers or toes.

If you see flowers on my blogs, they are being pulled from my archives. I go to the Detroit Conservatory some times in the winter just to cheer myself up with beautiful and colorful flowers on display there.

Peachy Color

This hibiscus was just so gorgeous in the Conservatory on Belle Isle! The cold weather doesn't exist in this haven of garden. Flowers of every kind, every type, and every color are growing together in harmony!

True Color of Peach

As you can see from the background of this peachy hibiscus, there are many other blooms from this one plant. They are spectacular to see in the middle of winter, and that is why I go to Belle Isle Conservatory times after times.

The flowers, the colors, and the growing of living things lift my spirits!

Print Your Shopping List for Free

I have a very bad habit and that is I often stop at supermarket without my grocery shopping list in hand. Then I find myself talking and asking frantically in my head for the things that I needed. I do look crazy sometimes, but run in and out of the house all day can do this to a person.

It is great enough for me to remember what time to pick up what kid, or what time to be where for what occasion, therefore, I allow myself to do whatever convenient for me! I have every intention of making a master shopping list, printed it out, put a check mark to the items that I need, and keep one in my purse.

While working on creating a list, I found a website that allows you to print out your grocery or shopping list for free. All it costs is a little time to sign up for a membership. If the items you are looking for not on their list, you can add them in. You can personalize your stores, or your favorites once registered.

Now, I have no more reason to forget my shopping list! I carry one in my purse all the time, even without marking my items. I just glance over the list, and it refreshes my mind on what to purchase at the store.

If you want to get updates, you can follow this website on FaceBook.

The Last Morning Glory

We are well into October, and on my fence in the backyard I found this beautiful white morning glory flower after the rain. I used to have many different colors, but this year only the white ones come back

Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.

And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.

Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.

Go Green While Repairing Your Financial Trouble

During a recent conversation exchanged with my neighbor across the street, they told me that their credit is in shamble! Both husband and wife had their fair share of misfortunes with their health care bills.

They both were out of jobs for over two months since their freak accidents! The husband tripped in a hole that their dogs dug at the front entrance, and the wife broke her ankle falling down while carrying the baby. The health care bills were outrageous, which putting them behind in maintaining the household expenses.

Having heard the trouble that they are facing, I suggest that they should look into programs that would help them fix bad credit. I offer to help searching for a reputable company, and has good standing rate with the Better Business Bureau.

We went to the library to use the computers there, and each of us find different websites to compare. Heather likes the site that also support the environment since her husband works for the Department of Natural Resource. They were able to enroll in the program to fix their personal finances.

I really didn't realize how important it is to have good credit scores, but finally have a sense of the urgency to do further investigating on this subject. It seems that most things in this world depends on the numbers of our credit report!

Walk In Bath Tub Makes Life Easier

My friend Laurie, who held annual shaving cream party for the kids that I had mention before, has adopted two quadriplegic children, and as they grow into teenagers, she found it extremely difficult to get them bathe!

Last year, the community project selected her house as the recipient for remodel, as part of helping family in need. I couldn't think of anyone else deserves this more than her! She devotes her life in taking care of abused children, and treats them as her own.

One of the most pressing needs for Laurie was a walk in bath tub and a new wheelchair accessible entrance. The project installed both of these requests, included the enlarging door to the bathroom so she can just wheel the kid in when it was time for bath.

Laurie was more than happy with the result, as it makes her life much easier! The walk in bath tub is what she adored. She doesn't have carry the kids for a long distance, and the tub includes all the safety features that she was hoping for.

The kids are now virtually adults, and their weights have also increased. Picking them up, or carrying them in and out of the tub is not an easy task. However, with the new remodel bathroom, and wheelchair entrance, Laurie is able to give her children better care.

Gerbera Daisy

I have seen Ruby Tuesday meme for quite a while now, and I wanted to join, so here I am featuring my red gerbera daisy as my first entry to this week theme.
